Improving the safety and environmental performance of vessels creates the basis for our ship management and operations model. Occupational health, safe and high quality operations, pollution prevention and environmental preservation are priorities of AIMS’s SQE department, which works closely with our other teams to monitor and promote these principles. The provision of a safe working environment is a responsibility we take very seriously. We achieve this first and foremost by ensuring our ships are in excellent condition. The next step is to provide training to all on-board and shore personnel with a view to building on their safety management skills. Our crew’s well-being and the identification and management of risks which may cause injury is of paramount importance and we work hard to establish safeguards and emergency protocols.
