Elena the host is a great person that treated us like a royal couple. I could write a very long review but I will not. That is because the place is great. Everything was great. Everuthing gets a five star review.
Totally recommended.

The house is beautiful. Each unit has its privacy.
The house is well equipped. The bedroom has a huge and comfortable bed and shower.
And the owners are very very kind and helpful.
The location is right between Ionnina and Aristi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The property is in the first of the Zagori villages, perched right on top of the hill above the town, so the views are amazing. It’s very comfortable, with hot water, a great shower, fluffy towels and the most enormous bed. The road up looks a bit daunting at the start but it’s actually fine. Although you can’t really see the views from inside, there is a big terrace and I imagine it would be very cosy in winter with the fire. There is a vegetable garden and Ioannis the host invited me to help myself to tomatoes which was lovely.. Negative: When I stayed the WiFi was out, but everything else was great. Unfortunately my trip coincided with terrible weather so the wind was howling a gale all night, which made it difficult to sleep! But that’s the price you pay for being on top of a mountain!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time in Aiolides! Elena and her husband Ioannis are very hospitable and knowledgeable. Even when booking, she already sent me a message with some information, I could already ask her questions etc. It consists of 5 traditional houses that form one accommodation. Inside it nicely combines the structure of a traditional house, classic furniture and decoration with modern comfort. The bathrooms (we had 2) were modern and the beds are simply amazing. The houses are spacious, making it a great option for families with kids. It's located on a hill top, providing fabulous views on the surrounding mountains and Vikos. It's a good base to explore the national park, the green mountains and Vikos gorge. One of the best things is the fresh homemade breakfast that Elena very proudly (and justly so!) serves on one of the terraces that offers a breathttaking view on the mountains. The best breakfast in Greece!
