We booked and payed a little fortune to stay 3 nights here in August 2018. This hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel and it’s a shame to pay an amount as high as we have payed. Rooms: - NOISY!!! you will hear every bikes roading and use their Klaxon (see below). You will also hear your neighbor doing whatever you could imagine. Charming - Bathroom and rest restroom were NOT CLEAN: see pics attached. Very shocking for a “5 star”. The representative proposed us an alternative room which were noisier (see below) so we refused. - Safe : not attached nor sealed. So not “safe” at all - Bed : ok. Be aware that it is a two mattress attached. - Privacy: none! Some of the rooms including our are accessible to anyone. The window give view to the pool but anyone could see trough if you are not precaution and not close the shutter. Hence, the room can not be highlighted by natural light. Very disappointed. Localisation: the hotel is at the cross center of the two main roads between Mykonos “Fabrikas” (eg: the Old port of Mykonos) and the main beaches of the island. It is VERY NOISY. Beware if you plan to stay and rest (wether rest during the night or during the day) you WILL NOT. Note that as private drivers and taxis are very expensive and as buses are very rare every vacationers move from to place with moto/bike/quads and riches guys of course use big noisy jeeps. As roads are dangerous every one use klaxons and of course you will hear them from the room. Beware if you plan to walk to the old town Breakfast - OK. But needs diversity - Coffee: americano. If you want to have some expresso you will be charged an extra. Inappropriate for a “5 stars”! - Cheese: some of them seems to be industrial - orange juice : industrial The only star that remains is to give to the personnel and the representatives. They are very kind and seems to try their best while repeating the appropriate langage “we understand that it may be noisy, but this is the price to pay”. “The bathroom is not so dirty, well... I have to admit but if you want we can ask to the maiden to clean again”. Etc. Conclusion: Annoying, disturbing and very expensive!!!!

Nice and clean rooms, but not well soundproofed. The hotel is new and has a very nice swimming pool area, with big bar and plenty of sofas and sunbeds. Very nice staff

Our stay at 3 shades was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible, they treated us like family. The concierge was amazing at helping us figure out things to do or see, figuring out the bus schedule, basically everything and anything we needed assistance with. We got upgraded to a room with a view of the water and the town. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The pool was very nice with areas of both sun and shade. The breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel was great as it is a 10 min downhill walk to the town and Little Venice which had great restaurants and bars especially if you would like to have a drink and watch the sunset (which we highly recommend). The bus stop was right outside the hotel and it cost 2 euros/person and was a great way to get to the beach (Ornos) which was about a 10 min scenic bus ride. There is a supermarket right behind the hotel which we purchased snacks and drinks everyday. Overall 3 shades was a great place to stay with amazing staff and a great location. We are hoping to be back in the future.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 days, the hotel is very nice, clean, rooms are very nice and quite at night. The pool is very nice and they have great drinks at the pool side. The staff is so friendly and happy to shell with any of your needs. Breakfast is very good also. There is lots of free parking if you rent a car. And you can easily walk to down town to have dinner or get a bit to eat. Over all great experience staying at this hotel.
