Akrotiri Seafood Obsession Milos - Akrotiri Restaurant-Cafe

Overrated. Looks nicer than it is. Doesn't have all fresh fish. Their pasta is terrible, not Al dente and too much garlic. Leave pasta to the Italians ;). Should go back to more simple Greek dishes. Wouldn't return.

Exceptional Greek cuisine, every dish we had was beautifully cooked and bursting with flavours.

Excellent fresh fish, top quality service. Had to pray the manager to have a table because it was fully booked and already late, he was very gentle. Super suggested in Pollonia.

Outstanding, just be prepared as the portions are on the larger side. The octopus and squid are spot on.

We really enjoyed our meal here. They brought out complimentary canapes and a shot of local spirit and also a delicious sorbet to finish off the meal. Starters, mains and wine were all delicious and service was spot on. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in Pollonia

What a wonderful service and excellent food. The staff is so friendly and quick. Due to Covid they are not allowed to seat as many tables so better make a reservation. Honestly the best restaurant in Pollonia (we tried all of them)

Lovely setting in Pollonia beach, they wanted to upgrade the Greek tavern to a more sofisticated level not sure if they achieved. We had an amazing octopus and Fava beans puree as starters, they didn't serve us the bread we asked to the waiter when they served the starter who totally forgot after as he carried on cleaning tables while our starter was getting cold and not bread ...we asked to an other waiter (the guy who takes customers to the tables) and when we almost finished the starter the bread arrived. They didn't clean up the table and the main courses arrived so a new technique I see common here in the Greek islands they manage to clean your table while they serve you the mains (mah! ) Seafood Mussaka was sublime ! Scampi linguine, we appreciated the well cooked linguine and the scampi buy the bisque was way too much and too too sweet with too much tomato sauce that covered up the whole scampi flavour and aroma, less is more especially when you want to feel scampi not a tick bisque only ! Wine we picked a local dry white and was good. They didn't bother to come by ask for desserts as they didn't even bother to clean up the table after our main courses so after 30 Min with dirty plates we asked for the bill. Bottom line is over rated and terrible service if you have such a high consideration for your style and food then you should equally have a "decent" service in any hotellery to me was a service of a low key taverna, food (not all) from someone who knows how to treat ingredients bit still scampi linguine need lot of mastering still. Best food we’ve had in Milos. Incredibly fresh seafood, impeccable service. Best calamari we’ve ever had. The sea bass melted in your mouth. The Greek salad was one of the best in Greece. The shrimp tasted like they were right out of the sea. Adorable atmosphere. LOVED it!
