★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being fed up with the many so called Greek taverns, which the most of which are just geared up for tourist and nothing traditional, found this Italian restaurant in the most lovely location of all Zante. The fact the we ate there at least four times says it all. The owner is really the best of hosts. The staff all very polite and well dressed. The barman makes the best cocktails there is. And the food, the best that we ate in our 13 days in Zakinthos. We would greatly recommend Alesta, hands down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant, and rather upscale for Greek island standards, Italian restaurant on the main square. The think crust pizzas are excellent, as are the salads. Note: no substitutions (meaning you can’t have a pizza with bacon and green peppers because it’s not on the menu - ridiculous!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice Italian place in Zakynthos. Close to the mail square and the shipping street. The food is excellent and the service was all good. The local beer was a nice touch but there is food selection of food and drinks. The location is great as the restaurant is at a beautiful smaller square with some traffic to look at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Italian restaurant. Even after already eaten tons of Greek spaghetti during our trip, the pasta dish here still amazed me! The cheese and other ingredients they use are top notch. Waiters were friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place. We were in Zakynthos for 3 nights and had dinner there twice. The service is great and the host was incredibly nice and welcoming. About the food, incredible. We had pasta with truffles, the burguer and pasta with pesto and buratta, everything was very good, very well cooked and prepared, and fair priced. They also gave us complementary shots of Limoncello after dinner, which really finishes perfectly a Italian dinner. Would definitely recommend to everyone visiting Zakynthos.
