D	Derek Raythorne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On arrival to this family run restaurant we where greeted with a smile and very friendly welcome, we where given a tour of the original house and building dating back hundreds of years where the walls of the old house where three foot thick to keep the occupants warm in the winter and cool in the hot summer. Some of the old rooms in the house are now being used as a celler for the many bottles of wine ? stored there and all locally sourced on the island of Greece ?? Alisachni is set in a quiet little village with a few other restaurants close by and a few small clothes shops, Mr Scoop icecream And of course a church. With local people living close by. We had a fantastic meal and a few bottles of wine, and the atmosphere was very nice with music playing in the background. We enjoyed it so much we will be going back , many thanks to the owners and staff of Alisachni Art & Wine Gallery. Thanks Derek and Christine

Lots of good wines by the glass, even more good wines by the bottle. The food is a bit elevated but not so fancy that it’s weird and the service is friendly and helpful. It’s basically a perfect spot for a wino like me.

Quiet and upscale, Alisachni offers traditional Greek dishes with a unique and modern twist. Everything was prepared so fresh and each bit an explosion of taste on the palate. We shared our dishes and started with the Red sweet peppers stuffed with shrimps, flavored tomato with anise, feta cheese and olive cake. So good! Our main was Pastitsio with pasta "sioufihta", minced shrimps and bechamel sauce flavored with "Mastiha". The mastiha added a tinge of sweet to a savory offering. It was incredible! The waitstaff was attentive, polite, helpful, and fun. Highly recommended and would dine here again!

Food is absolutely delicious, the best we had on Santorini and reasonably priced (20-25 for main dishes). Wine prices fair as well (about 100% markup from retail). Great wine selection, the sommelier is knowledgeable - perfect dinner spot (or even lazy afternoon drinking) for any wine fan out there. Don’t miss this!
