★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very elegant hotel, brilliant big rooms with a small kitchenette and wonderful bathroom. Very clean and finished well. Lovely relaxing pool and the pool bar/kitchen serves delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price. Friendly staff, and great location - far enough away from the main street that it is quiet, but close enough that going to restaurants is not difficult (5 minute walk). Close walk to a secluded beach also (15 minutes). I cannot fault this hotel, and I would definitely return in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and myself have just arrived home fully relaxed and recharged after a lovely stay mid June and couldn't fault the Alkion hotel it was a very friendly pretty well laid out hotel with all that you need for a great base to explore. The hotel staff especially Symiah and Alex were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was idyllic with a lovely sea and forest view too.
I would most definitely visit again and found the whole area very beautiful indeed. Thanks Alkion :))) xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Alkion is a fantastic hotel for a relaxing holiday. We stayed here for a short break in May 2022. The rooms are large and spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette and a lovely bathroom. The room also had air con but we did not need to use it. We were in room 101, it has a generous patio area outside from the double doors, this has a pergola with plants growing on it to provide dappled shade, which was lovely when the sun was very hot. There are table and chairs on the patio and also a good quality airer for drying off your towels and swimming costumes. We had a lovely view of the well-maintained garden, pool, bar area and also a view of the sea in the background. The pool area was clean with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. The pool bar / kitchen was open all day from 10am to 11pm or a bit later, they have music playing during the day which is just at the right volume, not too loud. The food from the bar was very good and generous portions.
The breakfast which was 8 Euros is also very good value. Full continental and hot bacon, sausage, fried and scrambled eggs and cereal all available. Along with tea, coffee and juice.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask for.
It is a 10 min walk up hill to the main road where there are bars, restaurants and shops. We ate at Taverna Adonis a few nights which we would highly recommend. The food is amazing and Toli will encourage you to try some of the traditional Greek dishes which he is very proud of (and they taste great).
The beach is down the hill from the hotel, we would stroll down the hill, spend a few hours on the beach. There is a public toilet and a small bar/food hut on the beach. We would then use the free shuttle bus from the hotel to take us back up, as it is a steep walk. They were running the bus three times a day when we were there.
Overall, the Alkion is a fantastic place for couples or families to have a quiet relaxing break, I loved sitting round the pool listening to and watching the swallows dip down and take a drink from the water.
If you cannot relax here then you cannot relax anywhere. We will definitely be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hotel!
I found this hotel on loveholidays with a package deal for me and my partner as a Christmas present, as we’ve never been to Greece. We went in May it was amazing weather, the staff were so nice and friendly, the hotel receptionist was very helpful and was great having a chat with, he helped us find the best restaurants and told us there’s a mini bus that brings us down to the beach for free and picks us up too. Rooms were very cleaned and they cleaned it every day! The breakfast was very nice and fresh now not much variety but it was nice! The food from the bar was very nice and the drinks too!
Overall I’d recommend it to everyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2-room Family suite is nice but nothing fancy. Stuff and room service are great. Location is great as it is 10min walk from main street so all you can hear here are birds and the sea. There is a hotel bus to the beach but you can easily walk there in 15 minutes.
