This school provides a high level of instruction, clean facilities with plenty of space, and a very welcoming community. I recommend Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Athens to anyone interested in learning BJJ, as well as to any current practitioners visiting the area. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Ю	Юдин Евгений on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very easy to find the gym as it is located near Ilioupoli (red line) train station. The gym is full of space and light. Changing room - shower - tatami - high level, as expected. Very friendly and open gym. Professor David explains everything very clearly and attentive to details. For example: I was on a beginners class and he explained toreando pass in details starting from grips to submission. On an intermediate/advanced class guys were playing transition from DLR to X-guard, using lapel, etc. Of course, professor is fluent on English as well. Good rolls. A lot of tough guys. I was rolling with white belts and higher level belts - everything was okay. Therefore, I am sure that any practitioner, doesn’t matter of what level will have a good time here. I hope that my review will be useful for guys from Athens and tourist-guest. Oss! Eugene from Kyiv.

I was immediately made to feel welcome by Prof David and his team and I really enjoyed the classes! The timetable has a lot of variety, including childrens classes/gi/no gi. Highly recommend!
T	Tony Fox on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a old dog been training 20 yrs just about at black belt and the brown belts here pretty much dismantled me. I was a little tired from walking 8 miles (and from being 54 yrs old), but I don’t think it would’ve mattered too much. Coach David is as nice a bjj ambassador as you could ever hope to find on the road. He did technique with me , an inverted worm guard move that I’ve seen but never done. I was hilariously pathetic, but I did well enough in sparing to represent my belt and my school. Coach also sparred with me and went very very easy on me which I always appreciate even though he was working me too. He let me borrow a brand new clean gi , gave me a new brown belt and wouldn’t take my $20 euro drop in fee. In summation, great guy, great gym, great culture, great competitors and great time — so glad I dropped in.
