Πρωτη φορα ενοικιασαμε αυτοκινητο για της διακοπες μας απο την alpha rent και μειναμε πολυ ικανοποιημενοι τοσο απο το καινουργιο αυτοκινητο οσο και απο την υπευθυνη του καταστηματος που ηταν πολυ ευγενικη και προθυμη να εξυπηρετηση.θα προτιμησουμε ξανα την εταιρια και την προτεινουμε σε οποιους ενδιαφερονται για οικονομικες τιμες

Μας έδωσαν ένα ωραίο αμάξι σε καλή τιμή. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό.

The worst company ever

Bad attitude from the lady in charge, don't respect the clients, when clients need their help they don't care

The car was ok, but the attitude of the owner Katerina was very rude and impolite against us. We will never rent again from this company.

This is the best option for renting a car in Thessaloniki. The price for a good car was 50% cheaper that competitors like Avin or Hertz. The car was in vefy good condition. We forgot something in the car and the guys came looking for us to return it before our flight. Bery trustful. The fuel tank arangment was very good and there is a cheap gas station there if you leave the car to the airport. Dont take the last turn to the airport. Continue for 50m anthe BP gas station where the pick up is there. I fully recomend calling them instead of those faceless large corps.

The below is the experience of a close friend... “We have rented a car from Thessaloniki to Chalkidiki from ALPHA RENT Company. The day that we were going to return the car we found it with shredded tires (all 4 with a knife) and the glass of the back windshield was all broken. Although we had paid extra €3 per day for full coverage we have been informed and it was also included on the terms we signed, that the tires and the windshield were excluded from any damage. In the terms we signed though there was not a clause regarding sabotage! It was obvious that we did not cost such a damage but someone else did!! (And how strange it is that the damage was exactly one those 2 parts that were not covered....). The company sent a platform to transfer the car to a gas station where with our own expenses we should change the tires. We requested another car since we should be at Thessaloniki airport for our departure and we did not have time to wait! The company said that they could not assist us because we were far away (Chalkidiki). A man who saw the situation offered to take us to the gas station that the company suggested us to go and we waited there until the platform should bring the damaged car for the tires change. There was no way though to replace the glass of the windshield! I spoke again with the company to explain that we have a 2 year old child and I was afraid to drive all that distance without protection! The owner again said that she could not be of help! I started arguing with her that I should not paid anything and she threaten me that she wouldn’t let us leave the country and she hanged up the phone on me! To our desperation and due to luck of time we put a nylon on the windshield to reduce the air coming in and we drove to the rental company where we delivered the car... As soon as we got there they were waiting us with the visa machine to pay for the glass! Mistakenly we did pay what they asked for because at that time we were already exhausted from the whole situation and our child was crying and we had to go at the airport as soon as possible.... Today I called the owner to send me the receipt from the glass replacement and I complained for not arranging another car for us in order not to suffer all that! She said that she didn’t have time to act.... (we had 7 hours ahead us before the flight). I said ok, you could at least arrange a taxi to transfer us and we would pay any expenses on our arrival.... and she replied that it was not her fault that someone did all that damage to the car and she would not pay for a taxi to assist us! I said to her it was not my fault either since it was a sabotage! This is the way you treat your customers especially when they carry a small child and there is a security issue? And she replied...you shouldn’t get in the car then!!! Anyway...to cut the story short that was our experience with ALPHA RENT! Be careful when you rent a car... read the terms and conditions over and over again... ask what happens in case of an emergency or an accident or a case like ours and take everything in writing! Unfortunately not everyone think humanely....”
