Ammoa Luxury Hotel & Spa Resort - Agios Ioannis Beach

Καταπληκτικός χώρος με διακριτικά πολύ όμορφο design, πανέμορφα δωμάτια, εντυπωσιακή πισίνα με πολύ πράσινο και όμορφα ανθισμένο περιβάλλον, τρία εστιατόρια σε περίοπτες θέσεις (ανυπομονούμε να δοκιμάσουμε τα δύο που δεν άνοιξαν ακόμη), ενώ μπουφές πρωινού, μεσημεριανού και βραδινού ήταν από τους πιο πλούσιους και εύγευστους που έχουμε απολαύσει. Μαγική η ησυχία, αν και ήταν το πρώτο σαββατοκύριακο που δούλεψε το ξενοδοχείο, οπότε ήταν ευχάριστα ήσυχοι όλοι οι χώροι. Ευγενέστατο προσωπικό σε κάθε σημείο που επιδεικνύει πολλή όρεξη για το καλοκαίρι που μόλις ξεκίνησε. Πάρα πολλά τα θετικά, κανένα αρνητικό. Ιδιαιτέρως κατάλληλο ξενοδοχείο και για οικογένειες με μωρά αλλά και για παιδιά με ξεχωριστές πισίνες και παιδική χαρά. Συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Το καλύτερο ξενοδοχείο αυτή τη στιγμή στη Χαλκιδική. Καταπληκτική τοποθεσία. Ολοκαίνουργιο! Εξαιρετική διακόσμηση. Φανταστικά δωμάτια. Άριστα εκπαιδευμένο προσωπικό. Παρα πολυ καθαρό. Εξαιρετικό πρωινό. Η θάλασσα είναι μαγική με κατάλευκή άμμο. Οι ξαπλώστρες στη παραλία φανταστικές. Μπορείς να κάθεσαι άνετα ολη μερα! Πισίνες με θαλασσινό νερό . Πραγματικά άξιζε η κάθε στιγμή στο Ammoa.

I believe this is one of your best options for a stay in this region. Perfect rooms with sea view, nice pool and a very nice beach. There is room for improvement, but I’ll leave my feedback to the hotel. We’ve had a great stay nonetheless. My advice: rent a car instead of taking a taxi and explore the area, don’t book dinner (pretty basic buffet) and know that they are still expanding at the moment (June 2022). Take a room with sea view, you don’t want a building site as view from your room.

The best Hotel...

What an excellent 5 star resort located on an amazing sandy beach and perfect services!

We spent 8 days in this brand new hotel, and either some things are great there is a huge area for improvement in some areas: 1) Building and Interior design are beautiful, rooms are nice, and it's clean. This part is really value for money. 2) Service is not on expected level. Staff is motivated, polite and helpfull but not trained enough yet. Definitely something that management should work on. There is no eye contact when you are around or in lobby, you are rather chasing service then opposite. Sometimes you feel like they dont want to earn money. 3) Hotel Facilities: a) Kids club working just from 10am -4pm, no special kids animations or programmes. Its not just the issue here that they are not fitting parents needs (who needs this from 10am-04pm?), they are also missimg opportunity to entertain kids and upsell wines and other drinks to parents after the dinner. b) Indoor pool is really nice with warm water, but not included in rate of room, only first time, every other time is additionally charged 30eur per person, and with kids you are allowed to use it only from10am -2pm. ( So 60eur for 4 hours even if its always empty. So you pay room very expensive and have no right to use pool!?!). Its not just opportunistic approach from management, its again missed opportunity since they will not upsell spa and massage services to people who are not there. This pool and spa area (that is also fantastic) is always empty proving that this approach is wrong. People from reception desk are not informed about this and is not stated on website and we were missleaded. c) Outdoor pools are really nice. But big one is cold. d) Beach is really nice, sandy with great beach sets. Still could be better cleaned and maintained. (find some glasses part, sharp can parts). 4) Food a) Breakfast with high variety of meals, really delicious. b) Dinner options are not so great, on the level of cheaper hotel and without name tags on majority of meals so you have no idea what is prepared. All deserts are made mainly from the same cream/puding with low quality level. Assortment of fish and seafood are belowe every expectation for Greece and this level of hotel (you feel like you are in Germany rather than Greece) c) A la carte restoran offers only sea food, and food quality at pool bar ( pizza, sendwich, tortillas, burgers) is average. Shop/Market inside complex not offering groceries, and first supermarket hard to reach by foot. As a conclusion: This hotel is not top class at the moment but has great potential to be with better organization and attention to details. Its rather medium segment that you pay extra money for because its brand new and looks fancy and leave you with impression that you didn't receive value for money. They should work on creating better guest experience in future. We are writting all this during low season (mid of June).

We’ve stayed here for 8 nights with my family and we’ve enjoyed every minute of our stay. Amazing spacious hotel, it’s an amazing experience waking up and seeing the sea out of your window. Good minibar, delicious breakfasts and really good service. You don’t even need to go outside of the hotel Every minute of our stay was exceptional, not only is it a beautiful hotel with the best breakfast, gorgeous rooms and wonderful facilities but the staff and service were another level, nothing was ever too much and they constantly went above and beyond for us. If I could rate more than 5* I would. Recommend for the family with kids☺️
