Other than that the prices are above average and the staff are pretty good at ignoring you for an entire evening. Our table of 9 got one round of drinks. The food arrived one after another within around 15 minutes (!). During our stay of ~2 hours nobody came to see if we needed another drink. When confronted about it the owner denied responsibility. It was basically all our fault. Maybe it has to be noted that he himself sat within viewing distance of our table for at least half the evening but didn't pay attention to either his staff ignoring us or our table itself. So much wasted potential as the venue itself is very nice and the location at the beach is perfect. If the business doesn't run well your can be pretty sure it's not because it's remote or unattractive but because it lacks a service culture that is interested and open for the customers needs.

Definitely trying (and succeeding) to be a little more upmarket. We only had one course each (4 of us) plus bread and olive oil...couple of glasses of wine and a couple of beers. Bill was 110€ which is a little more than you will pay at most of the Taverna's here, but the food all round was delicious with large portions and service, food quality and presentation was excellent.. the 'BBQ' Smoked Pork Shoulder in Black Beer Sauce was a culinary experience with an amazing presentation at the table..go see, I won't spoil the surprise! Will be revisiting before we leave. Staff also excellent

For me the thing that makes them stand out the most is their kindness, how friendly they are, how nothing is too much and going that extra mile. I cannot recommend these guys enough.
