Ammouda Villas - Agios Nikolaos

An amazing place - peaceful, beautiful, quiet, cozy. Our host was an amazing person, very friendly and kind. Every Saturday he organizes a cocktail around the fire pit, with wine and fine chat with all villa guests. Each day, on the private beach, fresh fruits are served. And Kostas, of course :)

Now, where do I begin? You know when you come across a place that you don't want to share - well this is one of those places and here is why... You couldn't feel more welcomed by the staff that run this place, they will bend over backwards for you, just to make sure that your experience is the best. The villas sit opposite their private beach, which has sugar soft sand and clear waters; each villa has their own sun loungers and umbrellas. The villas have simple interiors that are clean and nicely organised - with a small outside space for you to personally enjoy; we felt very comfortable. You are also welcomed to relax in their well manicured gardens that are just delightful, there are also separate seating or dining areas around the garden. If you wish to have a barbecue, just mention to one of the staff at what time you would like to start cooking and they'll have it lit and ready for you - taking away the mess of having to set it all up; such as nice touch. Mid week they had a small gathering for the guest, where they lit the fire pit and provided drinks and some food, this allowed us to meet the other guests and the owner - who was absolutely lovely as were the other guests. Personally I'm not really a beach holiday person (I'm too fair skined); however, my wife and daughter love to go to the seaside and Ammouda Villas is the perfect place to relax and enjoy being by the sea and yes - even mr fair skinned gentleman spent the morning to dusk laying on the beach. They also provide canoes and bicycles for you to use as you please. You couldn't ask for more really. I think it's important for me to also share my teenage daughters experience. At first arrival she was concerned that the place was to quiet for her - you know she's 17, so she's interested in partying, music and dare I say boys; however, she ended up loving the place and wants to go back next year; for me that's a win as I couldn't bare being on a party beach. So, why didn't I want to share my experience? It's quite simple - I want to return and don't want the disappointment of them not having a villa for my family and I. I would like to thank the staff and the owner for making us feel at home and all those little touches that I haven't mentioned in this review made it extra special. Now, if you are looking at staying at Ammouda Villas and like the sound of the above, then don't hesitate in making a booking. Our stay was marvellous and so will yours be.

The Ammouda villas are unique. From every point of view. The place, the houses, the owner, the service and all the people working there - they make our stay unforgettable. It's feeling you are welcome from their soul. From the great and cosy studios, to the own private beach, they cares for the last detail. The beach set, tables, beach towels, pillows, hoods, organisation, through the fresh ice provided 24/7..and the romantic evening around the fire, with air balloons for the children, local great wine, fruits and suitable music. The place is quiet, relax and fully deserve the escape from daily stress - even for or short time stay. Such a hospitality and attitude is a thing to return again and again!

We've stayed in Ammouda Villas late April (when it was still raining). We were the only ones on site and the owners has just begun preparing the place for guests, meaning not everything that is advertised on their site was truly available for us. nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay very much and everything we asked for was immediately delivered (moving the beds inside the villa, supplies (sugar, coffee, oil), beach beds, etc.) We stayed in the ground floor villa, which is the cheapest option on site. this villa is situated on the back of the complex and it's a stand alone place near the basketball court (which may be annoying if there are people playing but we were alone so only we were playing). The villa itself has everything you might need for cooking and sleeping. the beds are extra comfortable. The place itself is also pretty new so it looks and feels good to be inside. The beach near the villa is super nice (once again we were the only ones there due to the bed weather), it's only 3 minutes walk from the villa. Inside the complex there are swings, basketball court, ping pong table, small kids playground.. Overall it's a great place to stay but I highly recommend it within the sunny and fun season.

Ammouda Villas is an amazing place! We stayed in September 2020, 2 adults and 2 kids. A bit of heaven: ?on an amazing beach with beautiful blue water (Trani Ammouda), your own private sunbeds that you will only use them for the time of your stay, you also can use the paddle boards, canoes and beach toys ?with a peacefull garden full of butterflies, lots of resting areas, a kids playground, family bikes but also individual bikes ?a vegeteable & fruit garden from which you are invited to pick your on vegatables and fruits ? the villas are beautiful designed, with very comfy beds, very clean and with lot of privacy ?the staff is amazing, kind & helpfull and very responsive to your needs ?you will have lots of surprises that are meant to make your stay a perfect vacay

We like to refer to our stay at Ammouda Villas as a vacation in paradise and the memories we created there will forever be cherished. We are a big family from Moldova (4 families to be specific) and we were lucky to find this place by a fortunate accident, a place that spoke to our soul right away. The vegetation, the style and the little garden where you can go and pick up fresh vegetables and fruits were the things that made us want to stay there. There is something fun for the entire family, weather it is kayaking, board paddling, basketball, using the family bicycles or simply relaxing by the beach. It is a calm space that encourages relaxation and rest for the body and mind. It is also quite a special place for the attention of the details that the owner and the team have, welcoming us with fruits from the garden and a basket full of traditional Greek goodies. It was nice to know that everything you needed Romeo was there to help you with. The owner also organizes events were he can meet the people that stay there and we as well can socialize. It was magical in the sense of the emotion that it gives you to feel that you managed to create a small community in such a short time. The owner had the warmest smile that just brights up the space from the time he gritted us to the time we had to say goodbye. I would like to thank everyone for making our stay stress free, enjoyable and so unforgettable.

We booked a villa + the attached guesthouse as we were a group of 8. Having stayed in other luxury villas in halkidiki, this one is another level. Our host Christos and housekeeper Yoanna looked after our group and made us feel totally welcomed. The property has a beautiful garden. It's absolutely stunning and we met the owner who has a clear passion for gardening. You have a vegetable garden at the back and they provide baskets to pick salads etc. On request Christos brought our BBQ daily. It vanished early morning and they clean it etc! Location is about 20 minutes walk to the next village which has excellent restaurants, or take one of the bikes. You cross a quiet road to reach the beach in about 1 minute walk. The beach is exceptionally clean and has emerald waters. We had our own beach area with sun loungers etc. You have SUP and kayaks to use. Honestly I could go on and on about the positives. I couldn't say a bad word about the whole stay. We hope to see you next year!1
