Great place to stay, overwhelming view, lovely cats around

After spending hours reading reviews and searching for the best place for our stay in September 2020, we settled on Anastastia's Windmill. Wow. We were stunned when we arrived - the pictures do not do this fantastic place justice! LOCATION - the best location in Milos, high up in Tripiti with INCREDIBLE views, especially at sunrise and sunset. Close to everything fabulous local restaurants (Ergina is definitely recommended), Plaka, Sarankino beach etc but still far enough away so its nice and quiet. WINDMILL - how unique! It's been decorated traditionally and beautifully by Anastasia with such care and offers 360 degree views from the various windows, large bedrooms with comfortable beds, there's a huge kitchen and an outside grill/bbq, a nice hot shower, a huge outdoor area with 2 dining tables and a separate seating area to soak in the view. HOSTS - Anastasia and Loukas treated us like family and made us feel so welcome and we already miss them. They were so informative and helpful offering all of the local tips of the island (e.g. hot springs!) and are such lovely people. They stay just beside the windmill so on hand in case you need anything and they cleaned the windmill everyday which is really rare for a rental place!!! For those that like cats, there is lovely Princess and her 5 kittens, they are around if you want to play but won't automatically come to you in case you're scared of cats and don't come into the windmill. They also offer to pick you up and drop you to the port. If you are considering staying at this place, please don't hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed!!

Wonderful stay in the studio at Anastasia’s windmill. The views are incredible and the location is perfect for exploring the island from. Such friendly hosts who kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the port. Don’t miss this gem! Thank you for having us. Julia & Tom

Amazing location, place full of cats. Owners are really kind, Loukas came to pick up us in Adamas. Really peaceful, close to Tripiti and Plaka. the room is big and there is a big veranda. Perfect to see both sunset and sunrise. Highly recommend to stay there few days!
