Ancient Stagira Apartments - Olympiada

Πολυ καλη διαμονή! Φανταστικός μεσα ο χωρος, μπροστα η θάλασσα ιδανικό για οικογένεια. Πρώτη φορά είδα τα παιδιά μου τόσο χαρουμενα!!! Θα ξαναπαω σιγουρα!

Прекрасно и чисто място, уникален двор точно преди плажа. Господин Танаси и Георгия са мечтаните домакини! Място на което човек би се върнал с нетърпение!

It's the nicest place I've ever stayed. The apartments are spacious, very clean and equipped with everything you need. The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. Also this property is pet-friendly which is a big + , in my opinion.Thank you a lot!

We had a wonderful stay in the Mirini apartment at the end of July (8 nights). Accompanied by our children (7 and 3 years old) we appreciated in particular that the appartements are really on the beach and that the place is a little paradise of serenity and nature. The hosts are very discret and efficient - it was a real pleasure to talk to Georgia and the owners. We were welcomed as special guests with wine, ouso, mussels and bruscetta. The hosts were extremely kind and always ready to help with information or anything one needs. The apartment was very comfortable - with everything to need to cook, iron and wash your clothes. Very clean and nicely decorated with a private terrasse on the shadow. We had the impression that we were alone in this huge area of garden and nature around the apartments even when all the apartments were occupied. The beach has small stones at the entry of the sea but is really lovely and there is almost no-one on it - you can get cheap diving shoes from Olympiada. We were nicely supprised how green is the surrounding area with pine-trees and other vegetation. There are shops, restorants and one very nice beach bar in Olympiada. We will come back with great pleasure. Many thanks !!!

This was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in while traveling through Northern Greece. The host was incredibly nice and helpful and we were welcomed with dinner and wine upon arrival. We've stayed here towards the end of August, in the Mirini apartment which has all of the basic amenities which you would need if you're looking for an apartment with kitchen (dishes, cooking tools). It was really clean and nicely furnished. It is the perfect place if you're not looking for something crowded. Nevertheless, the main waterfront with restaurants in the village of Olympiada is between 15 to 20 minutes by walk and less by car. The location is not far from the village tavernas and supermarkets. There is free parking available at the residence and it's also easy to find free parking in the village. In addition, you have access directly from the apartment complex to the beach (as seen in the photos). There are other beaches nearby which can easily be accessed from the main road and this will take a 10 minute drive from the location at most. Ancient Stageira can be seen from the beach (it's also visible at night since there are lights placed on the fortress wall) and can easily be visited at any time since the access is made from the village. The property is pet friendly and we've had our cats with us during this time. The complex is surrounded by a very large garden which is great for anyone staying here and pets alike. We've always taken our cats on a walk on the beach in the evening since there is direct access from the property. The apartment also has a nice veranda where you can enjoy any meal or drinks during the day (the grape leafs maintain a nice shade). The host is there to provide assistance whenever needed. I can warmly recommend as we've had a wonderful stay. :)

Having your own "private beach", meters away from the place you sleep is the biggest plus of this place. It is very green, with flowers, trees and grass. It's a walking distance from Olimpiada which makes it ideal to walk after dinner at the village. The only sound that you can hear is the birds singing, all day long. We would also want to thank Mr Thanasis and Georgia for their hospitality. Great stay, we'll come back again for sure!
