★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely loved our honeymoon at Anemomylos Windmill in Syro. It was beautiful and the island itself was so laid back and relaxed that we truly enjoyed our stay. From the windmill we could actually see the entire island and it was so unique to stay in a renovated windmill. Mary, the owner, was also amazing. She made sure our stay was perfect by filling us in on the island's happenings and making sure we had breakfast. Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique stay in a magical setting. One of the very few windmills in the whole world which is habitable. We stayed 4 days with our two kids (8 and 10 y-o) and we absolutely loved the experience. The view from the spot is magnificent! The breakfast is composed of local products and we had complementary beverages in the fridge for us and the kids. The entry to the village of Ano Syros is just around the corner on foot, whereas there are plenty of public parking spots in the area around the windmill. Last but not least, Mrs Mary, the owner, is an adorable person and she made us really feel like home, the treatment we got was the one you would offer to a friend or a relative. All in all, 100% recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An ingeniously desinged place, always clean and with all the necessary facilities included. The breakfast with local products was really tasty and there was a great variety of choices. It has a beautiful view of the island's capital. The owners are very hospitable and really good people, always willing to help. The best choice for your stay on the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That was the one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in Cyclades! The location is central to reach Ano Syros and enjoy the view of Ermoupolis with the emblematic Churches from above. The windmill-house is like a time travel which combines both luxury and traditional comforts. Also very tidy, clean and fully equipped. Our best moment was having the traditional breakfast in the yard with the view of windmill and St. George's cathedral. Mrs Mary, the host, was very welcoming and provided us all the helpful information to explore the island. We would highly recommend the windmill for visiting Syros and we will definitely stay again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic, unique stay in the Anemomylos windmill. You have a great view over Ermoupolis and the Cyclade see, when you eat the delicious breakfast in the beautiful garden. The windmill has a perfect location, close to Ano Syros with its small alleys and good traditional taverns. Mary is an excellent host. She's kind, helful and she gave us a lot of information about Ano Syros and Ermoupolis. Living in a windmill was a wonderful once in a lifetime experience.

The windmill turned into a cozy, beautiful, yet very practical and fully equipped sanctuary, ideal for couples, families, group of friends (like ourselves) or even solo travelers. Mary, an amazing hostess, from the warmest welcoming on our arrival day, to the wonderful assistance and family-like treatment during our entire stay. A unique experience that nobody would want to miss, definitely going back!
