Very nice hosts (father and son), extra clean rooms (they cleaned our room every day) and a beautiful pool. A quiet place. We enjoyed our holiday.

The owner is very nice as is his dad. They really keep the place up. My only regret was that the rooms for four people in our case were a little small. There isn't a lot of room to move around inside and the balcony on hosts two people at a time. Fortunately there were tables in the garden we could all sit at.

A fantastic place and the service is really awesome. It's i a quite part just outside the city. A great pool where both parents and kids can enjoy themselfs.

The hotel is pretty nice compared to others I have stayed in Greece. Strong points: The rooms are spacious, the furniture is above average and the pool is suitable for small kids and for adults as well. It is located in the north-eastern part of the island, close to the main city (Lefkas) but opposite to the most sough after beaches of Porto Katsiki and Egremni. However, the location is fine if you have a car and you don't mind to travel around 45 min - 1 hour to those beaches, or if you are looking for something less commercial. When choosing Anesis (meaning comfortable in Greek), you are also quite close to Nydri, the best place to rent a boat in Lefkada. I would say that the tavernas are cheaper in this part of the island and the food selection is slightly better. The garden is nice, well maintained, the flowers are beautiful. Weak points (I would have given 4 stars to this rating if not for these): 1. The small & narrow road you have to turn in from the main road is bumpy and not friendly with a lower ground clearance. 2. The pool opens at 10:00 AM (I would have preferred earlier since the sun is already burning at 10:30 AM) 3. Depending on your luck, things can go noisy durning the night, because of other guests, since the owners don't sleep here and cannot know what is happening. However, during the day they watch the property, and this takes us to no. 4., the MOST IMPORTANT. 4. The old owner of the hotel, whom I suppose it's the boss, because he acts like he is, is very rude, speaks little english, watches from distance all day long the guests staying at the pool and around the amenities and finds every reason on this earth to make remarks about different things, he is full of "do not do that!!!" while being extremely annoying: "Watch for the kids, they are running" , "Don't bring drinks of food at the pool", "You are not teaching your kids the right way to dive", "Don't leave your toys there!" (to the kids) The young owner and the lady cleaning the rooms are very nice persons, without them I would have left the property in the 2nd day.

The hotel is nice, the rooms would worth the money if not for the owner who is picky and grumpy and will ruin your staying. First impression was quite bad. We were part of a larger group coming from Romania and arrived early in the morning with 5 cars. We were informed that we cannot enter the room until 1 pm (this is normal, and it didn't bother us) but also that we cannot use the pool until that time, while we were given strict instructions about how we should use it and what we cannot do. The pool has no bar and you can't even bring your own drinks near it. The most bothering thing was the owner (or the father of the owner) who is conspicuously watching the pool area all day long, looking for "mistakes" one guest could do, pointing them to you and making you feel uncomfortable and constantly under surveillance.
