★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing, quiet village, surrounded by lush forests about 1,5hr of driving from Nafpaktos. The ideal, serene place to relax, have a great meal at affordable prices and enjoy local sweets (try galaktoboureko, portokalopita and baklava) and teas. The only problem is that during weekdays the village is almost entirely empty and the shops and taverns are closed. Don't forget to buy spoon sweets in large jars at affordable prices, to take with you back home, or give away as a gift.We had an amazing time at Ano Chora and one day we'll return:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the most popular village at the area of the mountain Naupaktia. Very good traditional options are available, as well as taverns with tasty food and variety of Greek traditional drinks. It is a quiet one, beautiful nature and pretty nice hiking paths at the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My home village so beware of my bias review. This is about as authentic as it gets. This is old school Greece, and this is where the Greeks go for the weekend. Honestly I could live here for quite sometime. In the winter it’s so quiet and peaceful. In the summer it’s more populated but still very chill. Food is generally very inexpensive, authentic, and excellent. The scenery is breathtaking. The air is clean, the water crisp, cold and right from the mountain. If you want to see Greece in its true form, put this village on your list.
