It is the second time we stay at Antares and the pleasure of our sojourn remains entire: great location, amazing house, nice garden, gorgeous breakfast ; Mina and Giorgos are passionate and knowledgeable about their wonderful Mani region I warmly recommend to anyone who loves nature, beauty, calm and sober elegance; and friendly conversation with nice people

Antares is an amazing place with great people. It is highly recommend for relaxation and great hospitality. The breakfast was an truly magical experience respecting at the same time the pure ingredients of the greek tradition.

The excellence of this hotel can be traced directly back to the principals, who restored a ruined Mani tower complex for this purpose, and who manage it lovingly to help visitors appreciate the magic of this very special place in the world.  The achievement of the restoration cannot be overstated. Every stone, every surface, every detail, every angle was considered and selected to highlight the aesthetics of Mani architecture without creating the hardships for visitors that the old Maniates would have endured.  It is a delight to behold and a rare pleasure to occupy. The wonder of the physical structure is extended and enhanced by the operation of the hotel. The staff is unfailingly polite, friendly, and helpful. The furnishings and fittings are of very high quality and accentuate the simple beauty of the structure.  The sumptuous breakfasts are as much experiences as meals, featuring traditional Mani foods in creative, if not unique, preparations. But perhaps most impressive about Antares is its dedication to the miracle that is Mani. Guests are given expert advice on the best of the many beaches, ancient sites to explore, the extraordinary churches, hiking and snorkeling opportunities, highlights of the landscape, local wildlife, etc.  They are happy to suggest day-long itineraries, complete with marked-up maps, and cafe and taverna suggestions, backed by local knowledge and informed by affection and respect for the place. If you want to learn what the Mani is all about, this is your hotel.

A place you will never forget but always want to go back there! Best breakfast with local products and amazing team who runs the place!! We loved every minute there!

One of the best value for money hotels I have stayed. Regarding price, it is in the expensive side. However, the clean rooms, the good view, the amazingly friendly stuff, the great breakfast and the tips for the best places around, all combined, can make your vacation unforgettable. If you consider book at this hotel, stop considering and just book. Highly recommended.

During the uncertain times we live in, the hospitality, professionalism, and warmth of the hotel crew accompanied by the cleanliness, magical views and calming vibe of the rooms made our stay one worth remembering for life. We will definitely be visiting again!
