★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem at the center of the first leg of Chalkidiki. It is located at a square in the upper part of Kruopigi village. The food was excellent, especially the papardelle and the tagliatta. The service was amazing, we felt that we were part of the family that runs the restaurant. The wine list was very well organized, they even offer assyrtiko from Santorini ( Argyros estate). It is a must visit in Chalkidiki and strongly recommended, the whole experience is totally worth it! Excellent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A family run traditional Greek restaurant with tables on a small village square … the perfect holiday setting! Fish and mest lovers will be pleased with the menu and vegetarians as well. The service is efficient, extremely friendly and helpfull. Just amazing and worth going there (early or with reservation?)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We read in a review before coming to Anthoulas that this was the best food in the whole peninsula - after two beautiful dinners we couldn’t agree more! ;)
We tried several meat dishes as well as starters and everything was beyond delicious. Don’t hesitate to order the grilled halloumi cheese - it is not the same you eat at home ;) - and take one of their gorgeous salads also with the starters (it’s a great portion, good for 2).
Lamb chops, Easter goat from Kassandra - we were in heaven with these two dishes, and then we tried the Loukaniko sausage and a dish of the day with a butter-soft beef stuffed eggplant/aubergine (Melitzanes Papoutsakia), equally mouth-watering.
On top of this, the scenery is a rustic round square, away from the tourist crowded streets, where the restaurant and the square become one.
We hope we have the chance to come back soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anthouoas is the best Greek restaurant we have ever visited. Food is fantastic, atmosphere is warm and authentic, and hosts are friendly and very welcoming. Everything we tried is 10/10. I can especially recommend mousaka. Highly recommend. This is the place we will visit whenever we can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So we were worried this was a tourist trap. It isn’t. It serves fantastic local cuisine and even our children ate Greek food only. A wonderful evening out. Also, a great wine list. Had a 4.2 and 4.1 Vivino rated wine for under Euro 37.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and cosy restaurant in the middle of the village. Great atmosphere,great staff and really good food. The meat was prepared to perfection,the salads were fresh, the taziki amazing and the beer cold :)
On top of it all, normal prices.
Well worth the visit.
