★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes just an accidental check of old photos in the shop on the street may lead you to an exciting journey into memories, hundreds of almost forgotten stories, things, which lived a life, and were given a second one (or maybe third or forth or even more), because someone gave this chance to them, by careful collection and storage.
This shop and talking to the owner, exploring it, was a cherry on the top of our visit to Rethymno. If you are in the town, definitely recommend to visit the place, inside there are real history of real people. You may feel like in childhood, when you checked storage of your grandparents and found real treasures.
Things, that you can find here, are absolutely unique and the owner is very open to share the stories, discuss and even we got little gift (Attention, there is a danger, you need to remember what is you luggage limitation, otherwise you'll be obsessed to bring too many souvenirs with you!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the most beautiful antique shops I have been to and one of the most interesting shops in Crete. It holds so much nicely curated treasures, almost like a museum where you can take home the souvenir that is the exhibition items!
