β β β β β Of the 11 full days we were in Chania, we spent 4 of them at Aptera Beach Resort. Panos, Likurgos, and the other young lady and young man working there were the best. Very attentive and welcoming. Good food, good drinks, nice people, and great beaches. Here's what puts it over the top for me though - the grass section cuts down on the dust and sand, and while most days are perfect for swimming, every now and then a little swell will come through and there is surfing right next door where you can rent equipment or take a lesson - Surfing...In Crete! Who knew!? Just perfect. A big thank you to Panos, Likurgos and everyone at Aptera Beach Resort who made our stay so special.

β β β β β Love this beach resort. The friendliest staff and very welcoming atmosphere. The food is also delicious! Make sure to try the seafood linguine and anything else on the menu :)
Beach is also very clean.

β β β β β Very good place, clean beach, reasonable prices (compared to other similar but more luxury resorts), relatively quiet place, kind staff, meal perfect, above Greek standards clean toilets (!). Recommended, don't go to city beach in Chania go there! βοΈSuggestion for improvements: Some topless girls/ladies for making this place hotter?? but can be individual, sure.

β β β β β The name is a bit deceptive because it's technically a restaurant and I didn't see a beach resort nearby. However, this is a lovely spot to rent a spot on the beach or up a few steps at their restaurant for the day.
We spent the whole day here and enjoyed a bottle of Cretian wine from one of the best wineries in the area (24 EUR with about 5 or 6 glasses in the bottle). We had a few cocktails (old fashioned and aperol spritz) for about 9 EUR each and two club sandwiches which ran about 8 EUR each.
The restaurant/bar area has a few covered pavilions, additional sunning area and comfortable couches/cushioned lounged chairs. The restrooms are clean and more than sufficient.
Everything was fantastic, from the location, to the service, and the food/drinks. We spent less than 70 EUR for a whole day at the beach which we thoroughly enjoyed.

β β β β β Amazing place! I tried all the salads and almost the whole breakfast menu and everything is fresh and made with care and love. All the staff is very friendly and helpful! The Avocado salad is a must as well as the Viennese baguette :)

β β β β β Great beach bar! Beautiful and a very relaxing vibe, in a shade with a little breeze, and a view to the beach. The food is delicious and pretty. Minuses: a bit slow service, yet friendly and nice. Could add oat milk as a substitute for cowβs milk for coffees. ? Iβve had bruschetta and mushroom risotto, both were very flavorful.

β β β β β Early evening meal in a lovely restaurant, with great views. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Our excellent meal was sea bass with their choice of tasty breads with dips. Complementary fruit too ?
