Aquarius Village - Aquarius Village

This place and area is very beautiful and clean. The hoster and stuff were very lovely and helpful. We had the room that was located far away so that's more helpful cause then you don't hear the noise and The loud music from the club next to it.

It was lovely, clean, reasonably priced and the service was quite good. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the poor condition of the cutlery and the single pot in the kitchen. If you intend to cook, you need to bring at least a knife and a proper frying pan with you. Also, for those wanting a peaceful sleep: there's some kind of Greek nightclub near, playing music until 6 or 7 am.

I wasn’t going to leave a review because I know they depend on tourists to make money during the summer. I booked my room for 12 days and I checked out 2 days early and Georgina the hostess checked me out. I went back to my room to get ready to leave , I took a shower and as soon as I was finished my power went out. I went back to ask Georgina and she told me that’s what happens on the “whole island,” I didn’t really believe her so I looked around the rest of the hotel and other rooms, they had power, she lied. The rooms weren’t cleaned daily, I saw the employees drinking coffee and smoking every day instead of working. I will be back to the island, but I will never go back to this hotel, I was very upset. Nobody deserves to have he power shut off on them. I also had a hard time sleeping every night since there is a night club nearby that plays very loud music, this was not mentioned anywhere when I was booking my stay.

Arriving at the hotel we were welcomed by the friendly staff and waited for our room. Our first impression was quite nice but thats where the fun stopped. As soon as the nice lady showed us the room, she informed us that we weren't allowed to set the A/C temperature below 23 Degrees C because otherwise the A/C could be damaged and we would then be responsible for that and would have to pay for a replacement. On the doors they where A4 paper signs informing us that in case we damaged the linens, towels etc. we would have to pay accordingly. The linens were stinky and obviously not clean. In the bathroom instead of a proper ventilation there was just a hole in the ceiling with a metal pipe. In order for us to shower we had to combine scolding hot water from one shower head and really cold from another one. And to top all that we couldn't get a decent nights sleep, or any sleep for that matter, because of the club that operates on the other side of the street. There was incredibly loud music playing until 5am! When we contacted the local police station the officer informed us that the club owner is the son of the islands mayor and because of that there is nothing they could do. The next morning when we tried to find a solution with the hotel owner we were told that we could eventually change room and go to the next one, which obviously wouldn't solve the extreme sound problem. We left and lost 1 week's worth of payment and went to another hotel which was in a better location, far more beautiful, clean and cheaper! All in all it was a terrible experience, wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I stayed here for two night and it was very nice and cozy. The room at air conditioning, refrigerator and nice sea views from the living area. On our private large sized balcony we had a gorgeous views of the sea and sunset we loved every moment! We were very happy with how clean the room was especially now during covid19 season.
