It is currently empty and closed for renovation. We have seen workers that have been busy working on it.

Very small, but nice collection. It takes you only few minutes. Admission is only 2 Euros.

Small veneu, not clean, with poor information, bad lighting and showcasses not cared for! The antiquities however are beautiful and interesting as always

Completely empty and closed for renovation - no website warnings - extremely disappointed about this but the museum needed work done - they should pay interested people the courtesy of letting them know it is closed instead of posting “open” hours.

A small exhibition, takes at most 30 minutes to complete. Gives a peak at some artifacts from Minoan and greeko-roman periods produced or found in Crete. Lady at the counter spoke hardly any English. Several sections of the exhibition had no description. Entrance was free that day (Saturday late September).

Price was high. 15 eur. So we did not bought the ticket. But funniest part was that our kid followed wild peacock and get us all in the territory through exit without tickets. So we saw everything and we were happy that we did not bought the tickets. Nothing impressive.

It was interesting but I have to say that I was expecting something a bit bigger. To see the whole collection takes you maybe about....15-20 minutes? There is also no parking lot which is a price for historical building in the downtown but is still something to bear in mind.
