★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed visiting this local museum as it introduced me to a people and culture I was previously unfamiliar. The artifacts are housed in a restored hilltop fortress. Items are plentiful and although there is not much English, I was still able to appreciate the craftsmanship and historical value. I spent over an hour here and I practically had the entire museum to myself. The views from the museum grounds overlooking Lamía and the surrounding countryside are spectacular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing museum! One of the best we have visited all arround Greece. They have a lot of pieces from diferent ages and they are in a great state of conservation. Do not miss jewlery, glass and ceramic collections! Great museum with great people working there!
