Small museum which has kept some archaeological pieces, but the majority are in the Archaeological Museum of Andros, so visit very quick

Beautiful and simple museum. It is worth taking half an hour to visit.

Beautiful place and very little traffic. Be careful of the trail because it is quite long and difficult to access and complicated. There must be water as there is no supermarket below.

Small museum but just above the archeological site of Paleopolis. Hermes of Andros should normally be in this museum. However, it has enough information about the ancient Paleopolis and interesting exhibits. The archeological site is not visitable.

Plenty to see with good clear notes in English. Although some of the best artifacts have been claimed by Hora or Athens, there are fine pieces of domestic interest, as well as "religious" and very interesting coins and statuary. You get a sense of how big, important and cultured Palaeopolis was in the past. Brilliant value for 2€. Check out opening in advance as it is actually open on a Mondays (unlike most Greek Museums) but I think closes on Wednesdays and may close more (or entirely) in the winter.

Wonderful spot to learn about the history of the island. Be sure to walk down to the shore, the beach has ancient pottery shards washed smooth by the sea.
