Φαίνεται ότι πρόκειται για δημόσιο κτήριο με στοά, ίσως κάποιο γυμνάσιο, της κλασικής/ελληνιστικής περιόδου. Σε επόμενη φάση διαμορφώθηκε λουτρό με υπόκαυστα της υστερορωμαϊκής περιόδου. Ο χώρος είναι κλειστός για το κοινό και δεν έχει αναδειχθεί καθόλου. Δεν έχει καν πινακίδα με εποπτικό υλικό. Κρίμα για την εγκατάλειψη του. It is one of the few archeological sites in ancient Trikki. It is known as the Asclepieion, but it is not sufficiently documented. It seems that this is a public building with a gallery, perhaps a high school, of the classical / Hellenistic period. In the next phase, a bath was formed with burials of the Late Roman period. The space is closed to the public and has not been highlighted at all. It doesn't even have a sign with surveillance material. Too bad for abandoning it.

Trikki used to be one of the famous medical centers in ancient times. If you google it, you will find lots about the place in the net. Not much is left of Trikki today, but it is still interesting to visit and breathe the air of Ancient Greece From here you can head into the old town, which is cute but very small, or head up to the Byzantine castle where the clock tower is located. From there you have the best view of the city of Trikala.
