Η ανασκαφή διήρκησε από το 1991 έως το 1996. Σημαντικότερο εύρημα η κεφαλή του γενειοφόρου Διόνυσου που φυλάσσεται στο Αρχαιολ. Μουσείο Δράμας. Στην περιοχή αυτή λατρεύτηκε ο θεός του κρασιού με απόηχο το σημερινό δρώμενο του Μπαμπούγερου.
Temple dedicated to the god Dionysus, 4th - 3rd century BC century.
The excavation lasted from 1991 to 1996. The most important find was the head of a bearded Dionysus kept in Archaeol. Museum of Drama. In this region the god of wine was worshiped with echoes of today's Babogeros event.
