★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I volunteered for Archelon at the Zakynthos project for three months. Really enjoyed it and being part of the amazing work this organisation does. Eventually, the campsites begin to feel like home and everyone is really friendly. Going back this summer again!

Not only you get the chance to work with and help these amazing animals but also you meet interesting people from all over the world. Totally recommended.

The work they do is very noble and very important and being a part of it is an amazing experience and I couldn't recommend it more. Seeing these turtles on a daily basis on Zakynthos was truly amazing and I've gained so many great friendships with people from all around the world. See you next year!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent 2 weeks of my summer volunteering for Archelon in Gythio. It was an amazing 2 weeks that taught me so much about turtle conservation and public awareness. It was also a great travel experience in that I got to explore the southern part of Greece, and the best part was the long lasting friendships that I made that I still maintain to this day. The environment is safe, beautiful, relaxing, stimulating, organized and overall one of the best volunteering experiences I’ve has to date. The only thing I complained about was that I only booked my stay for 2 weeks! I will be back volunteering for Archelon one day, that’s for sure!

I had the incredible experience of volunteering at the rescue centre in Athens and a field project in Zakynthos. From caring for sick and injured turtles to protecting nesting beaches and raising public awareness, Archelon is working hard to make a difference. The international and conservation-oriented volunteer base makes for an unforgettable community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the opportunity to volunteer in ARCHELON for an internship. First I didn't know what to expect, after 3 months spent with all those fabulous volunteers I can say without a doubt that it is one of the best choices I have ever made. If you want to learn more about conservation and experience some great moment with amazing people, go for it ! If you don't, you can still spend your holidays on beautiful beaches, but please, do not walk on the nests ! ;)

I met so many fantastic people, I was able to contribute to the protection of sea turtles and I could admire the beauty of the Greek people. Archelon allows you to work in a young, dynamic environment that makes you grow. I love this project.
