P	Piper Martz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic taverna featuring local foods, Corfiot specialties, ingredients from the owner’s farm, and his own wine! This is a very special spot, unlike any of the tavernas on the coastal areas. The food is excellent and homey! We ordered the gigante beans, fried zucchini and the sofrito (which my partner said was the best meat he’s had in all of Corfu.) They’re vegetarian friendly and also were accommodating of food allergies!

The 6 years old daughter came to draw with our 3 year old daughter and despite the language barrier our daughter had a great time. Thank you Maria! Beyond this, the food was lovely, traditional and at the right price. Our experience was just perfect and we recommend this traditional taverna if you are looking for a local taste of Corfu.

Traditional decor makes the place feel welcoming and authentic. I visited in October which meant the "Herbs" were in season, Akis recommended them as I was ordering my meze style dinner. I am so glad I ordered them, so tasty and perpectly cooked... Not only that, the tirokafteri is quite possibly the best I have ever tasted! I am a black coffee drinker, I had a pre dinner espresso which was good... After my food I decided to have a cappuccino, something I enjoy very rarely!! Akis makes the most interesting and delectable cappuccino, I was extremely impressed! I fell in love with Corfu and cannot wait to return. For sure I shall be visiting Akis and family again, this is a tremendous taverna! Thank you Akis and family for an amazing experience. See you soon!
