ā ā ā ā ā The location and the house are beautiful but the owner who stays within the same area as the property is the problem..
Just few examples, he was at the door face patrolling whoever was coming in and out, only gave us one fob key and had to insist for a second one (that means you have to walk up the hill to open the main door for someone else to enter the property), was coming mainly in the mornings and checking on us...
Felt like a prisoner and did not manage to relax at all.
Anyway, I could go on to actually write an essay about the owner but I don't want to waste any more time..
In Chania there are many beautiful places to stay and I would not recommend that place.
If I had not paid the whole amount upfront I would definitely have found another.
