Καταρχάς, επειδή είμαι τυφλή, είχα μαζί μου το σκύλο οδηγό μου, ο οποίος επιτρέπεται βάσει νόμου να βρίσκεται σε όλους τους χώρους συνάθροισης κοινού, δημόσιους και ιδιωτικούς, ακόμη και όταν πρόκειται για χώρους υγειονομικού ενδιαφέροντος. Στο συγκεκριμένο μαγαζί, από την πρώτη στιγμή που πάτησα το πόδι μου μέσα, επέμεναν να καθίσω έξω. Τους εξήγησα ότι υπάρχει ο νόμος 3868 που αφορά στους σκύλους οδηγούς τυφλών και, εκτός ότι δεν είχαν ιδέα, εξακολουθούσαν να μη μου επιτρέπουν να καθίσω μέσα. Μάλιστα σήκωσαν ολόκληρη παρέα από κάποιο εξωτερικό τραπέζι για να καθίσω εγώ, προκειμένου να μην μπω στο εσωτερικό του μαγαζιού. Πραγματικά, ο μόνος λόγος που δέχτηκα να καθίσω έξω και δεν επέμεινα, ή ακόμη περισσότερο δεν κάλεσα την αστυνομία, είναι επειδή εξωτερικά είχε δροσιά. Θα ήθελα όμως το πού θα καθίσω να είναι δική μου επιλογή και όχι υπόδειξη του μαγαζιού. Από εκεί και πέρα η εξυπηρέτησή τους ήταν εντελώς αντιεπαγγελματική. Συμπεριφέρονταν σε εμένα και την παρέα μου από αδιάφορα ως ψυχρά. Εν μέσω κορονοϊού, το προσωπικό δε φορούσε καν μάσκα και τα τραπεζάκια όχι μόνο δεν είχαν απολυμανθεί, αλλά ήταν και βρώμικα με σκόνη και σημάδια από χυμένη μερέντα επάνω. Όσο αφορά την παραγγελία μας, θεωρώ αδιανόητο ένα μαγαζί που παρασκευάζει κρέπες και πίτσες να μη διαθέτει σαντιγύ και τυρί κρέμα. Τα μόνα θετικά που έχω να προσάψω είναι πως οι τιμές ήταν πολύ χαμηλές και πως ανταποκρίθηκαν στο αίτημά μου να μου φέρουν την κρέπα κομμένη, ώστε να με διευκολύνουν λόγω της οπτικής μου αναπηρίας. Σε γενικές γραμμές έμεινα πολύ δυσαρεστημένη από το μαγαζί και την εξυπηρέτηση τους, αλλά κυρίως από την συμπεριφορά τους. Εγώ και η παρέα μου θα παρακαλούσαμε το προσωπικό να ενημερωθεί σχετικά με τις νομοθεσίες, τόσο περί σκύλων οδηγών, όσο και περί κορονοϊού. Ωστόσο δεν εγγυώμαι ότι θα ξαναπάμε. Μάλλον το αντίθετο. First of all, because I am blind, I had my guide dog with me, who is legally allowed to be in all public, private and private gathering places, even when it comes to sanitary facilities. In this particular store, from the first moment I stepped inside, they insisted that I sit outside. I explained to them that there is Law 3868 concerning guide dogs and, although they had no idea, they still did not allow me to sit inside. In fact, they lifted the whole group from an outside table so that I could sit down, in order not to enter the inside of the store. Really, the only reason I agreed to sit outside and not insist, or even more so did not call the police, is because it was cool outside. But I would like the place where I will sit to be my choice and not a suggestion of the store. Beyond that, their service was completely unprofessional. He treated me and my company from indifferent to cold. In the midst of the coronavirus, the staff did not even wear a mask and the tables were not only not disinfected, but were also dirty with dust and marks of spilled merengue on them. As far as our order is concerned, I consider it inconceivable that a shop that makes crepes and pizzas does not have whipped cream and cream cheese. The only positives I have to blame are that the prices were very low and that they responded to my request to bring me the crepe cut, in order to facilitate me due to my visual disability. In general, I was very dissatisfied with the store and their service, but mainly with their behavior. My company and I would ask the staff to be informed about the legislation, both on guide dogs and on coronavirus. However, I do not guarantee that we will go again. Quite the opposite.
