L	Levente on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I know this is the most famous and the oldest bakery of Athens. You can try traditional Greek bakery products there. The seller speaks English quite well. I think the place is a bit expensive due to its fame, but it is worth to spend your money there.

One of the few places where you can find this variety in pies. Pies taste good (although not extraordinary as someone might expect). Ariston definitely deserves a visit. Among our standard choices is the “Zucchini and Feta” pie.

Choose from a full tray to guarantee freshness and avoid disappointment, as Greek pies don’t age well. If you’re bored of the cheese and/or spinach pies that are available in every other pie shop, try the red pepper or leek pies here. Their sweet offerings are less impressive, although their take on a pumpkin pie is interesting.

It's definitely not your fancy "look impressive but tasteless tourist pie"! I miss the pies here, fair to say they're some of the best I've had in Athens!
