Selbstverständlich kommen Schnorchler auch nicht zu kurz, denn die alten Mauerreste bieten einen einzigartigen Lebensraum. Sollten Interessierte nicht verpassen! :) A great opportunity for underwater archaeologists and those who would like to. Πολλά αντικείμενα όπως αμφορείς..αρχαία νομίσματα ...κι άλλα... βρίσκονται στο έλεος του καθενός... This piece should have been highlighted and protected with the ancient ones. Swimming in a mask you see the sunken state. Many objects like amphorae ... ancient coins ... and more ... are at the mercy of everyone ...

Będąc w okolicy warto się rozejrzeć i pospacerować tu nad brzegiem morza. Nie ma żadnego ogrodzenia, skromna tabliczka informuje o pochodzeniu wystających z ziemi ruin i tłumaczy dużą ilość ceglanych kamyków przy brzegu. The ruins of the Roman city of Asopos, partly sunk, remind that in Greece even such a village with a small beach has an ancient history. Being around shop around and take a walk on the seafront here. There is no fence, a modest sign informs about the origin of the ruins protruding from the ground and explains a large number of brick pebbles at the shore.

Κηρυγμένος αρχαιολογικός χώρος σχεδόν 100 χρόνια αλλά οι ανασκαφές που έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί είναι υποτυπώδεις. Μέρος των ευρημάτων εκτίθενται στο Νέο Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Νεάπολης Βοιών το οποίο αξίζει μία επίσκεψη. Τα ερείπια τα οποία διακρίνονται στην θέση ¨Κόκκινα¨ , δίπλα από το λιμάνι της Πλύτρας , αφορούν την Ρωμαϊκή περίοδο της πόλης , η οποία υπήρχε τουλάχιστον από τα Ελληνιστικά χρόνια. Κοιτώντας από τη μεριά της θάλασσας , είναι ευδιάκριτο το στρώμα χώματος και φερτών υλικών πάχους ενός μέτρου τα οποία έχουν καλύψει τα ερείπια . Σημάδια λαθρανασκαφών βρίσκονται παντού στο πεδίο (κομμάτια αφρολέξ , σημαδεμένα σημεία με βέργες , κομμάτια από χαρτόκουτα κ.α.). Η αδιαφορία των Αρχών είναι τουλάχιστον ύποπτη . A monument to our cultural heritage and the irresponsibility of the Greek State and the responsible services. It has been declared archaeological site for almost 100 years but the excavations that have been carried out are rudimentary. Part of the findings is on display at the New Archaeological Museum of Neapolis in Boone, which is worth a visit. The ruins which are located at the site of "Red", next to the port of Plytra, refer to the Roman period of the city, which existed at least since the Hellenistic years. Looking across the sea, it is obvious that the layer of soil and of one meter thick material that have covered the ruins. Signs of smugglers are everywhere in the field (foam pieces, stick marks, cardboard pieces, etc.). The authorities' indifference is at least suspicious.
S	Sof L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s so frustrating to see this place completely abandoned. There are still ruins to be seen, but there isn’t even a sign on what they represent. The location is amazing. If the locals were smarter, they would push the state into making this a great sightseeing destination attracting many tourists, thus supporting local economy.
