★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monodendri is a historic village in a region with a number of hisyoric villages. Stunningly beautiful mountains and historic villages. This is popular with Greek tourists but a little isolated of you don't have a car. We simply picked this village off the map and were pleasantly surprised. Set beside the picturesque Vikos gorge. We stayed 5 days - visiting the small local museum, touring around the gorge and dinning in a good selection of restaurants serving authentic greek food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is very well located in the city center. The common areas are nice. The room is clean. The village is beautiful. The area is really hot in the summer and there was no air conditioner in the room. It would be appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We reserved two double rooms and got a confirmation. When we arrived, half a day later, the rooms were gone. They did not give an acceptable explanation and did not offer to help us to find another place to stay. When we got angry (we were with two children, after a long journey), they threatened to call the police..... In the end we found a better, cheaper and friendlier place just around the corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It felt hospitable,very clean,friendly service,peaceful,the pool was a real asset for our summer vacation, the flowers everywhere made a difference...room spacious(we received upgrade,very grateful for that!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are beautiful but bathrooms are very small, showers so small you cannot move inside and are NOT maintained very well.
Breakfast - eat somewhere else. Not enough food! You get one cup of omlete, 2 ices of tomatoes, 1 slice of cucumber, 4 olives and 4 cups of cereals.
