★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first day we were in Corfu, Neffeli Hotel receptionists directed us to the Cafe at the bottom of the walk. There, we could catch the #7bus into Corfu Town. If we had problems, the Cafe owners would be able to help us.
So, as an American, where the country is pretty much mapped out in a grid, we asked for directions. We got pointed in the right direction. After a wonderful day of discovering Old Corfu, we returned to Aroma caffe and , we were able to take away a beautiful Greek Salad, wine, and dessert for dinner to eat on our balcony at the Nefeli.
BUT, the next night, we ate there because the owner is so worldly and humourous about global affairs ...he loves his country, especially Corfu...and maintains he is not political. We laughed so much...I will miss his nightly dissertations.
And Mama's salads!
'Choco', the sweet dog, is right there to keep everyone safe—with Papa!
