However, this time it worked as the lady was very nice and said we can look and try and still do not have to buy anything. We entered the store and found a lot of unique and beautiful stuff, mostly with blue or white opal. The prices were good and not too much, unlike many other jewellery stores in the city. So we purchased a beautiful set of earings and ring made of white opal and silver. Very elegant and beautiful, the total price was 32 Euros which is very good and the sales ladies were very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend.

There are lots of jewellery shops in Hersonissos, and most will try and pull you in if you stop at a window, then they confuse you with discounts which are not real. At Aspasia the prices were clear & reasonable, the owners were knowledgeable and not pushy, I didn't feel like I had to buy something, and could browse happily. There is a big selection and something for all price ranges. I visited a few jewellery shops in Crete looking for something that called to me and found it here! I cannot understand the few negative reviews and can only assume they are fake, as the owner? was so friendly and helpful. I hope to visit again soon, but this time at the beginning of my holiday when I have more left to spend!! Thank you again!
