★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εχω κάνει πολλές φορές Ανάσταση εδώ, με τον Ιούδα να καίγεται δίπλα στην εκκλησία και τις κροτίδες να σκάνε ολόγυρα. Η Ανάληψη, όπως λέμε όλοι στη γειτονιά το ναό αυτό, είναι ένας ωραίος συνοικιακός ναός του Ηρακλείου, που αδικείται από τα έργα διαμόρφωσης της πλατείας, που κρατούν πολλά χρόνια και δεν φαίνονται να κοντεύουν να ολοκληρωθούν.
Είναι μεσαίου μεγέθους ναός, που στο εσωτερικό του είναι ολόκληρος καλυμμένος με αγιογραφίες. Εχω προσθέσει αρκετές φωτογραφίες στους χάρτες του Google που θα σας επιστρέψουν να δείτε το εσωτερικό του ναού, αλλά και την εξωτερική του όψη από διάφορες πλευρές.
I have resurrected many times here, with Judas burning next to the church and the crackers burning all over. Ascension, as we all say in the neighborhood, is a beautiful district church of Heraklion, which is unjustified by the square decoration works, which last for many years and do not seem to be nearing completion.
It is a medium-sized temple, which is completely covered with hagiographies inside. I have added several photos to Google maps that will take you back to see the interior of the temple and its exterior from various angles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful church medium size near the center.very nice architecture. There are some stairs to reach the place from the west side .the church is at the top of a very small hill and the view from the garden is very nice to the near park and to the center of the city.
