A nice venue that comes alive during the Athens theater festival.

Venue for some of the smaller events of the Athens festival. A converted industrial space with a pleasingly edgy feel quite a way down Piraios st., it hosts avant garde theatre and dance performance as well as exhibitions. The performance venues are sometimes overchilled, and the seats are director's chairs, which are only marginally comfortable. Luckily, the level of the performances often rewards the transitory discomfort.

My ex preferred Greek Festival spot has become such a mess with parking outside the scheduled places and irrational procedures like the obligatory getting out from the hall during the interval (which is not officially announced but addressed in person by the gentle personnel...!!!). It's a pity but before some years we used to follow some extraordinary performances with the correspondent respect to the artists and the audience.

Amazing location and atmosphere, and the modern art performances, theatre and dace mostly, of the Athens and Epidavros Festival make it a must visit. Starting June 2022 the central plaza is an open air night venue, with a great bar (operated by Six D.O.G.S), two food trucks and a DJ playing mellow tunes. From around 8pm-1am. The space is open to the public even if they don't hold a performance ticket. There are also a few hundred covered, free parking spots that of course fill up quickly

5 stars for the venue + location, regardless of the event you're visiting. Very industrial, dark, perfect for music festivals. I visited during Add Festival 2022. It was nice. I enjoyed the space, reminded me a lot about Berlin ^^
