★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In to Athinaikon, you enter into the sweet side of Greece. It has a wide variety of greek sweets. The Athinaikon has a very long family tradition, and for many tourists and Koronians, it the favorite zacharoplastia in Koroni. I like to sit on their tables at the sea and enjoy their sweets al late night or take sweets home...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought today a birthday cake and a few gateaux to celebrate with friends and familly.
We have bought many times from there and usually we were satisfied. I suppose due to summer season the consumption was high so everything was fresh.
Unfortunately I didn't took that in mind when I bought them so I was really dissapointed to find out that the gateaux were not fresh.
The cream filling / base was hard and I was embarresed to serve them.
Obviously the owner was not embarresed to sell them.
I wonder why I was not informed
so I could choose something else,
taking in mind that this was a special ocassion.
It's unprofessional to treat any customer this way.
It's only decent when something is not that fresh, the customer to be notifed and if the owner wants to sell them, to do so in a lesser price.

The quality of the pastries are superb.... the best we have had in Greece. There is also ice cream which we haven’t tried but I am sure would be excellent.
Highly recommended if you are in Koroni.
