P	Paul Jarrett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a week in the Athos hotel stopped many times before at different hotels in Nidri there’s no point staying anywhere else the athos as got it all lovely clean hotel staff are great food spot on warm pool free air con the list goes on and on will be back ASAP

The pool, whilst lovely and large, could use a stronger filter to remove debris and general muck, as underwater you cannot see further than three or four feet; the floor is cracked quite badly in a few places, and; not all of the rooms are as they show in the photos, so don’t expect to get sea views with fruit on the beds, as some rooms point off at fields and buildings. Still, with the value, it’s hard to argue.
M	Mark Wright on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Considering we arrived towards the end of the season and the town was winding down the family/staff at Athos were all very welcoming and generously helpful. They would go out of their way to assist in breakfast and looking queries up online etc. The rooms are spotless and cleaned every day by cheerful ladies and our Aircon was working and quiet! Nicely located at one end of town made it great to travel to the other end via the buzzing eclectic high street with all it's fantastic restaurants, cafes,bars, bakeries and patisseries. Alternatively stroll along the stunning coast and pretend to own a yacht and sit and chill with gorgeous views and a massive choice of top quality eateries and bars. If we came back I'd definitely stay in Athos Hotel, and they love their cats too!
I	Ian Povey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice friendly hotel. Basic but clean, just the job for Greece. The breakfast is very basic and if you go late options are limited. The rooms are ok, the bathrooms could do with an update but are clean, the showers could be improved and if you larger than average they will be a challenge. The pool area is good, the sunbeds are put away each evening and, when we were there, had no trouble getting a couple.

F	Fredrik Sletbakk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent a week on Athos Hotel. It’s classified as a 2 star hotel, but I definitely feel this is good value. Don’t expect luxury, but you get everything you need. What really makes this good value is the excellent service from the owner at the reception, the daily and food cleaning and the friendly waiters at the snack bar. I would definitely come back to Athos for the good service. Pro tip: If you get one of the rooms with number 249-252 you also get a very nice sea view from the balcony.
