Lets start off by saying that the photos that are provided on the site and on airbnb are misleading. You cant get the real feeling of the place from the pictures. The house is located very distant from the town and to get to it you need to get on a steep mud road that leads to it.
Inside the house there are 2 bedrooms, kitchen and a bathroom. The bathroom has two doors one of which cannot be locked. The oven is located in the garage, where it gets so hot during the summer that it cannot be used. There was no toilet paper, so if you plan on staying there make sure to bring some with you.
The biggest issue is that there is only a single old air conditioner that cannot even cool down half the house. Meaning that during the hot summer months, the place is unlivable. There is also a single small wardrobe that is not enough for 4 people, no nightstands as well. We couldnt stand living there for not even one night.
Overall Avoton Farm is probable one of my worst experiences ever.
This was a very poor attempt for making an old run-down bungalow into a
''eco-friendly hotel''.
