★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Παραδοσιακό χωριό στους πρόποδες του Ψηλορείτη. Οι κάτοικοι με την πάροδο του χρόνου κατέβηκαν προς τον δημόσιο δρόμο, αλλά έχει πολλά παλαιά σπίτια τα οποία μερικά κατοικούνται ακόμη. Αξίζει η διαδρομή προς τον Αφέντη Χριστό παλαιό αντρικό μοναστήρι που τώρα δεν υπάρχει, βλέπεις τα χαλάσματα. Απέναντι το γυναικείο μοναστήρι. Το χωριό διαθέτει μονοθέσιο δημοτικό σχολείο και καφενείο. Οι κάτοικοι ασχολούνται κυρίως με την κτηνοτροφία και τα μουρέλα, είδος ελιάς. Προς το τέλος του χωριού υπάρχει υπεραιωνόβια ελιά
