★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first (and still probably only) video store in southern Attica to offer unsubtitled movies to cater for the English-speaking population of the area. At AVE you'll get a warm welcome, personal service, politeness and courtesy every time you visit. You'll feel like their best customer, especially since the owner has the ability to remember every single customer, what they have rented, their likes and dislikes and make recommendations, without even checking her computer database! I loved this place the minute I rented my first movie, and went back again and again. For Greeks learning English, it's both a joy and a great help to watch movies without annoying subtitles - it helps accelerate learning so much more. Of course nowadays this is not such a problem as anyone can disable subtitles on DVDs and BluRays, but back in the old VHS days this was such a brilliant idea!
AVE definitely deserves your visit.
