★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there around Christmas season in 2019. One of the best hotel stays I've had. Very clean, organised, friendly and helpful stuff and the breakfast was amazing. I can't wait to visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the first step through the front door, we were welcomed with a warm reception and a smile.
The room was modern, clean and a great size for a couple, consisting of 1 bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony.
Breakfast was served every morning overlooking the pool, was fresh, tasty and set us up nicely for our day.
Staff were incredibly lovely, super helpful and the place on a whole was pristine and following covid guidelines.
Parking is at the back of the building, we missed it but easy to find once you know.
If we visited Nafplion again, we would definitely stay at Avra again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at the standard suit and ive got to say that, i was afraid i would enter a room that did not look like the photos. I was surprised to see that the room was spacious with a lot of extras such as flippers, soaps, toothbrushes even a small sewing kit!
Room was well cleaned as well, definitely would stay again.
Only reason i give 4 stars is the parking, it is not a protected parking area, would not recommend if visiting using a motorcycle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, after traveling around some of the ancient sites in Greece and staying in many ancient places (one 800 years old) this is the place to go to feel like Greece has more current places. This hotel has a pool, modern showers, laundry service, designated parking... The castle is only an 8 minute drive. There is a great little Gelato shop down by the harbor. And prices are very economical.
