★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avra is the best authentic Greek taverna on the Corfu island. Is owned by an amazing Greek family who is cooking fresh and tasty fish and sea food. This lovely family will do anything to make your staying a very pleasant one.
They serve the best food and wine on the island. They love what they do and they make you irremediably fall in love with the authentic taste of Greek food. I highly recommend this enchanting place, if you look for a one of a kind experience on the board of the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the place, I spent here the whole yesyerday, starting from the breakfast at 9 a.m. Eating, lying on sunbeds, swimming in the sea, eating, swimming, eating, swimming and drinking at the end of tha day?. I could not expect more. The staff is friendly, food delicious. Today I am coming, too. And the next few days, too. I was lucky finding you in Benitses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice terrace on the beach, friendly staff with good knowledge about the menu. Very helpfull in finding a dish that I could eat safely because of an allergy. Quite a few begging cats around. Food was tasty, Greek salad a bit skimpy (no olives, no bell pepper, LOADS of onion). Only possible to pay cash.

I’ve been several times in Greece but I have never had such a tasty food like here before (my chicken gyros plate was simply amazing).
Customer service is perfect, smiling and polite, the place is so cozy and the atmosphere so relaxing and calm.
Even the Mastiha, typical Greek liquor, was divine.
This is just the place to be for a typical and nice dinner in Corfu island, thanks to the staff (and cheers to the chef!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for the sun beds and drinks during the afternoon and then went back for dinner to have the fried sprat (fish) and the lemonade. Really enjoyed the chill atmosphere and friendly staff. The semolina coconut cake was good too!
