G	Graeme McKenzie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have recently returned from the small Village Of Moraitika in Corfu where we stayed for a week in The Aragorn Hotel. This Hotel is set into the mountainside overlooking The Ionian Sea and mainland Greece. It is a bit of a steep climb but worth every step when you reach the Hotel. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the views from our Balcony were breathtaking. It is a diamond of a Hotel with a real homely atmosphere and you immediately feel part of the Village Community, there is small Tavernas dotted throughout the Village and a great chance to meet the people of the Village. The one thing that eclipsed even the beautiful views, were our Hosts Elena and Michael ( and Aragorn)..From the second we arrived to the second we left, were so helpful and made us feel so welcome and on several occasions went out their way to make our Holiday perfect. So if you want to experience the real Corfu, visit Elena and Michael at The Aragorn !! Graeme and Elaine Edinburgh
D	Diana Sicoe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, right in the heart of Moraitika. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view over the Ionanian Sea. The pool is a great attraction of the place and the owner, Amalia, she offers very detailed info and she also drew us a map with the surroundings, that turned out to be very useful. I understand that Avra will be refurbished soon: room furniture and bathrooms - and that's what it needs to be even better. Also, protection against mosquitos at the window/door to the balcony would be extremely helpful.

I	Ildikó Sealey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amalia, the hostess, is super sweet. The place is comfortable, peaceful and in a great location. We feel we've chosen well. Rooms have basic amenities, fridge, cooking facility, towels. The hotel has a clean pool and plenty of free, shaded parking.

A short walk to the beach, although if you don't like to climb up a steep hill after being at the beach this may not be the best spot for you.

J	Jan Fiedler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location, friendly atmosphere great pool...very poor bathrooms very quite peaceful place away from crowds ...local people are extremely friendly and most importantly close distance to beach approximately 15min walk ...beach is perfect for kids after 5 feet of small rocks fine sand on the bottom no rocks...very shallow and perfect for swimming...no crowds and water is crystal clear...one of the best beaches I ever visited my favorite on Corfu... 5 minutes walk from a great family own restaurant very convenient. Serving home made Greek cuisine with excellent service ....

A nightmare for large car drivers, but walking through the streets is quite romantic. Views below are nice if your room is not close to the pool. Bed is squeeky and too soft for our standards. We prefer hard matress. Toilet and shower are very old and tiny, would rather renovate them after the tourist season is over. A decent stay nevertheless.
