★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the one week we stayed in Gerani, we ate breakfast here almost everyday. It's a perfect local setting with old people sitting and chatting while having morning coffee and pastry. Spinach pies are absolutely delicious. Must try! And very cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a baking hot day, why stop at a bakery for respite? To be contrary? Well every time I walk passed this bakery, the sun is blazing and there is no shade. Every time, I am tempted in for a cup of their excellent coffee and a little something to eat: spinach pie or very chocolately donut, both are delightful. Does it cool me down - no. But, it is enjoyable. Oh, I forgot. You do get a glass of iced water.
