Spinning classes and body pump with Dimitris daily really good classes!!! Also started getting into Zumba with Anna... she is amazing! I love in the gym that constantly the staff are helping you and giving you advice. Maria was really good in telling me what to do next and how to do the exercise! thank you sooo much to all of you at balance, such a beautiful family and a friendly gym!!
Y	Yoko Nishiguchi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic gym in this little town. Knossos Beach Resot’s gym was very basic and inadequate so we asked and they directed us to Balance Fitness. They have several classes all week (but only after 6 pm) and all the cardio and weight machines you will ever need. No one speaks English very well but like everyone and everywhere Greece, super helpful and friendly. from what we gathered, 7 euros per day or 35 euros for 7 days. Closed on Sunday. Opens 10am to 10pm

It pretty much covers everything with a focus on core strength and functional exercises, but also has enough weights for those in need of resistance training. Staff are very welcoming and friendly

The group lessons are the best and I enjoyed it a lot, Dimitris is very friendly and a great trainer. Mr Nikos at the reception knows everyone by name and just makes everyone smile. Best gym in the area!!

C	Carsten W. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ GYM WITH A VIEW! As with others, my hotel‘s gym was not properly equipped (e.g. no lat station). This gym here in Kokkini Hani turned out to be a real gem: 5€ day pass, friendly owners, all the workout and gym equipment you need (most of it is Cybex and Technogym). And you really have a great view of the sea (see my photos!). The machines are well-maintained and clean. Many locals train there and that puts a nice Cretan flair to it. Overall the studio has an interesting architecture: it seems to be a house/villa turned into a gym. Quite a nice touch. However there is no AC (or it wasn‘t turned on that day) — which I found to be great (don‘t like these ice-cold gyms). But to some it might be too hot (I went there around noon time). But again: then there‘s THE view. :-)
