★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is for the half day Meteora tour starting from the train station. The area is surreal - monasteries perched atop towering rock spires.
The tour itself was absolutely incredible - the itinerary was very well planned with lots of great vistas. Booking and pickup from the train station wa easy. The driver was excellent with a smooth ride. The tour guide was a local, knew some of the nuns, and was very knowledgeable. Overall, the single best tour I have ever been on - I would highly recommend!
