Called in for some late lunch in the way back from Olympia
The Greek salad was ok but it was swimming in olive oil
l have been visiting Greece for well over 30 years and l know and agree with their passion for the golden oil but too much of a good thing...... and the feta was very sharp to taste
The gemista - stuffed vegetables - were tasty enough but again they were floating on a pool of olive oil
The cod with chips was a bad joke. Two pieces of fish. Both overcooked in batter so hard you had to hit it to get in.
One piece of the "cod" bore a startling resemblance to a skate wing but there were only two forkfulls of fish on it. The second piece was all spine with maybe three bites of fish
In the UK we call that a ripoff, in Greece l feel the same word would be fair as it wasn't a cheap meal
It was however a very poor one, avoid if you can

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great "locals" spot! The food was wonderful. Try the mixed seafood grill, everything (snapper, bream, calamari, and prawns) cooked to perfection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to be in Zacharo, located at the beach. Some food is not available every day ( off-season?), but the atmosphere is great and service is quickly. You can also drink nice Cocktails here while watching the sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bar at the beautiful sandy beach of Zacharo village, with sunbeds and umbrellas. It is open until late at night, nice for drinks and entertainment at summer season. It is also have a restaurant. If the music was not so loud as it was during my visit, it would be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent beach, somewhat like Maimi bay. Lots of umbrellas for everyone, even if you cannot find a free one, you can sit at a bar with a view of the beach while you have your coffee and keep an eye for an opening. Lowest prices on coffee I have ever seen at a Greek beach. There's also a tavern in the same area so you don't need to change location. It's a full day experience.
